10|12 Danger! High Voltage!
What happens when you disassemble a disposable camera flash and remove the limiting resistors? High Voltage
! For anybody planning to repeat this experiment, it may be deadly. You have been warned.
Step 1: Remove flash PCB from disposable camera. Step 2: Desolder the limiting resistors from the PCB and bridge the connections with a piece of wire. Step 3: Solder or somehow attach large gauge wires to the leads coming from the PCB. Step 4: Apply battery Step 5: Touch the two wires and enjoy the spark. Warning: This circuit has the ability to output high voltage and high current charges. Do not touch the bare wires while the capacitor is charged or serious injury may occur. I take no responsibility for accidental or intentional death or injury resulting from these instructions. Update 10/12/2006:I've posted an instructable on how to make it.
